I saw these lines up at 5dimes. Winky Wright is -240 to Mosely +180. Hatton is -1800 and Stewart is +1150. Unfortunately all my 5dimes money is tied up or I would throw at least a couple hundred on Stewart. IMO Stewart is DEFINITELY worth that shot. I think he is a very solid fighter who ran into one of the best P4P fighters in the world when he was totally on his game that night in Mitchell. I think Stewart is decent and can give Hatton a handful and more. He'll have to though if he wants to win a decision over there. But +1150 is way too high.

After taking the worst beating of my life on Mosely I think I will switch sides and play on Winky. Mosely has heart and athleticism but he just doesnt have the technical boxing skills that Winky has. Winky is one of the best technicians in the game. Mosely has dropped his dad and has went with Goosen I believe. I read an interview with Winky when he was on vacation last week and he says he's more hungrier now than he's ever been. I'll wait to see what kind of feel I get from the Mosely camp but I probably will lay that wood on Wright.

Golota vs Ruiz is even but I have no opinion on that fight but if I was going to bet it would probably be on Ruiz. I thought Golota clearly lost his comeback fight to Byrd.

Ouma is -225 to Verno Phillips +175. Too bad I have never seen Phillips fight. I remember you saying you like him Spinch.

With all of the fighters out there why cant these bums fight each other and make some fights. There is alot of potential matchups that I would just like to pounce on. Give me a look.

steward at +1150 is a little high but he needs a tko or cut to win it. decent long shot.

winky at - 240 doesnt look to good to me, i was all over winky the first time but -240 is alot.
Maybe winky is taking mosley lightly and wants to show something special and gets punished.
Maybe Mosley changes his style back to the first dlh fight where he showed decent boxing skills (jab) and gets away from his slugging style. Sorry for being negative lately but also i like Winky and have huge respect for cotto i bet on neither of them in their bouts.
Mosley def can fight a better fight than the first one.
Furthermore for me it would be a real nightmare
to lose a huge favorite (winky) bet than switch sides in the rematch and take again the huge favorite (now winky) and lose again. But thats just me and even odds i def pick winky. maybe if a decent over under comes around.

Yeah your probably right. I would feel like a real ass if that happened but Mosely looked so clueless against Wright that its almost worth it. I'll wait until right around fight time to make a decision. Might just lay off it though.

Stewart has to KO Hatton to win,I feel. Especially since it involves Warren, a true
criminal. I think Stewart is just another
sacrificial lamb. Mosley tries twice to beat
Forrest and fails. He is just too small for
Wright. He bench presses around 400 lbs. Maybe
he should try Olympic weightlifting. If Winky
lets his status go to his head he could be in
a little trouble though. I wish I had a strong
opinion on something, but I do not. Hell, I think Oscar can decision Hopkins, so I am beginning to question my sanity! Until I can get
a clear read on a matchup, I'm on hold.

i just can`t help but think that shane mosley isn`t a jr middleweight and oscar certainly isn`t a middleweight....

if wright falls asleep here,i`ll be shocked.....and think about mosley`s last 5 or 6 fights....

he`s no longer a boxer....he comes forward...i`m not sure he can back up anymore...move and punch...he bullied and out-quicked guys at super lightweight and welter....at jr middle it`s harder to be quick....and the power doesn`t travel...

wright finally got some recognition by beating mosely.....

mosley beats him and he loses his new found credibility...

mosley hasn`t looked sharp vs anybody except oscar in awhile...vs another blown up welterweight....and a second fight sure didn`t help vs forrest....now he`s facing a bigger, stronger "lefty" forrest.....

imo, these guys are fighting guys that are just plain to big....

winky is the cream.....so is hopkins.....we`re not talking javier catillejo, yori boy campas, raul marquez or even chucky sturm....or felix sturm...or whatever the hell the german`s name was...not that the kid wasn`t a decent enough boxer...but he had little power....and he didn`t have the ring savvy of a hopkins...he had a very good jab...a decent little uppercut....

but he was stronger than oscar...oscar`s lucky he wasn`t a big puncher...

but,now we`re talking premiere guys in heavier weight classes...

i remember what a doctor told a relative a few years ago....he said that a person can weigh 150 lbs....and their blood pressure can be normal and the heart can function at a high level.....if that particular person gains 5 pounds to 155,it can be just enough to tip the scales... to cause a significant rise in blood presure and put more strain on the heart...

there`s a threshhold that many people have....

i liken what he said to a professional boxer....there`s threshhold you reach..as a premiere athlete...you function optimally up to a certain weight...then it becomes a strain to maintain your sharpness......where you don`t carry the same speed, stamina and power...vs guys that are naturally carrying the same weight.....and have maintained an optimum level of performance their entire careers fighting at the same weight...dlh and shane started their pro careers at around 132-135 lbs....hopkins actually fought his first bout at 177!!!

wright fought some early bouts as a heavy welterweight...but for the most part, has been a solid jr middleweight...

what a huge advantage...

maybe bernard gets old overnight...it`s possible...or as rumored,he throws his legacy down the drain by cahing in and taking a dive...sounds silly....not sure how it could be done to make it worth his while....but,i`ve heard it now to many times...it`s a little disconcerting...

maybe shane can overcome the reach and lefty stance....and size...can recapture the cat quickness that he had as a smaller guy....

i,personally, don`t see it....these guys are all veterans now...the die is cast,imo.......

who knows....just throwing some b.s. at the wall....

I agree with you about guys fighting outside their optimal weight range and losing their sharpness. Even if they have the height or are taller than the guy theyre fighting they still have an optimal fighting weight. However, I seriously disagree with your infatuation of Hopkins. Dont you see that the biggest win of his life came because he was fighting a textbook definition of what you were just talking about?

And seriously, give me a break with the Hopkins throwing the fight bs. Thats just silly
bullsh!t started by a bunch of guys laying the foundation for an excuse as to why the guy who they call the greatest P4P boxer gets beat. If Hopkins loses this fight its because he gets his ears boxed off. Plain and simple. What indication do the guys that started this dumb rumor have that he's going to throw the fight?
Thats right, nothing. And I'd put money that Chucky Strum would beat Hopkins also.

I guess were going to see whos theory is right on the 18th.

I remember seeing this Eduard guy like a year ago on Friday night fights but I thought he was fighting at 168? Anyway, I was really impressed by him but then when I saw that he had two draws with that Beaupre guy and I was thinking that maybe I overrated him. But he is a tough guy and both him and Gibbs are tough sobs. Too bad I didnt take those odds.

gibbs cost me a parlay....i was a little surprised that he came out trying to k.o. edouard...he looked in previous fights like the better technician...the taller guy....

he threw caution to the wind and paid the price.....

as a matter of fact,so did i....lol

But he's seriously a tough guy. Gibbs is a winner. He just ran into tough opposition tonight. This was a good fight. I'll give it to espn. They are warriors but what happes when either of them fight a boxer?

Mosley is def worth a shot here. He wasnt prepared for the first fight, and a new trainer(Goosen) can only help. Shane is a throwback, like James Toney, where he ducks no one and always wants to test himself. He is a real pro, and even though he didnt look great in his first fight, Winky is way too much of a fav here. If anything i would like Shane here, plus its lower risk, higher reward. Mosley's career is pretty much done if he doesnt win here.

what hardcore just said about mosley, can also be said about dlh...in spades....

doesn`t mean they are gonna win,though...

mosely may not have short arma....but he fights like a short armed fighter....wimky knows how to use that reach...

the odds are the drawback.....

He def fights that way you are right. Its frusterating to watch as a fan, because he is one of the most talented guys ive ever seen. I just think that a new set of eyes helping him will make the difference. He def has the power advantage and knows how to finish. Plus, winky didnt look great in his fights leading up to the big win.... Maybe im jus hoping for the best since I love Mosley and i think he is great for the sport
